Every surah has a story.
Nuzul tells you — as a short narrated episode — when each surah was revealed, why, and in response to what event. Then it reads every verse in full from a published translation, start to finish; the spoken word moves with you on screen.

Read-along
You can read while you listen.
As a verse is read, the word being read is marked in the text. It can be followed in a quiet room, without headphones — or without hearing it at all.
Yani karanlıkta asılıp tutunan küçük bir çamur pıhtısından; başladığın yeri hatırla. Üçüncü ayet:
Ayet 3
Oku! Senin Rabbin en cömert olandır.
Dördüncü ayet:
Ayet 4
O, kalemle yazmayı öğretendir.
Kalem — yani bilgiyi, ona başka türlü ulaşamayacak insanlara, çağlar ötesine taşıyan o alet. Beşinci ayet:
Ayet 5
İnsana bilmediğini öğretendir.
As the audio plays, the word being read is marked in the text.
Structure
How an episode works
01
First, the event
The circumstances of the day the surah was revealed: who, where, in the middle of what. A minute or two.
02
Then, the text
The verses one by one, read from a published Turkish translation; after each verse comes a sentence that sets it in place.
03
When the reports differ, we say so
The narration rests on the classical reports and commentaries; where the sources diverge, the episode says so openly rather than quietly picking a side.
